We have acted in and conducted proceedings from different perspectives in this area – for companies that are both being wound up and for those seeking to obtain an order to wind up a company.
We have also acted in legal disputes concerning liquidates carrying cut their duties appropriately. We can act and appear in the Supreme Court of NSW and the Federal Magistrates Court for applications under the Corporations Act and ancillary powers.
We can take proceedings to wind up companies and have a liquidator appointed if necessary. On many occasions, we can conduct the proceedings without needing to brief Counsel for the Court appearances.
