» Police matters

If you are prosecuted by the Police, we can assist in appearing before the Court to deal with the matter on your behalf. We will advise you at the earliest possible opportunity as to whether or not you have prospects for defending the charges. We can also make representations to the Police for your charges to be withdrawn in lieu of you being prosecuted.

If you plead guilty, we can attend the court and make a plea in mitigation on your behalf to minimise the penalty imposed. Usually we arrange for references from your colleagues and associates, prior to doing so.

We have also appeared in contested hearings before the court where you choose to plead “not guilty”, with success. If you wish, we can also instruct experienced criminal law barristers who will be able to advise and represent you in Court.

In certain circumstances, you can even seek an order for costs against the NSW Police.
